| We are open 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Saturday. Described by Jasper Conran as "the Covent Garden of the Cotswold's", Stroud has one of the highest proportion of artists and makers in the UK. The Made in Stroud Shop was set up in December 2000 and is widely recognised as being one of the most successful gift shops selling work direct from UK makers in the country. The enormous range of work on display ranges from original artworks to hand made gifts, aromatherapy products to stained glass panels, pots to textiles and basketry to beeswaxcandles. Look out for special exhibitions throughout the year. In addition to the wide range of stock in the shop, we also take commissions. If you would like anything made for your home or garden, or for a special gift, we will do our best to find a local person to make it for you.
